Cillian is a co-founder and shareholder of Virtue. Cillian is focused on sourcing, developing and executing new business opportunities for the Group up to and including post acquisition integration implementation and ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives of the Group. Cillian also works closely with the CEO in the strategic planning activities of the Group. Cillian has an in-depth knowledge of policy formation, strategic planning and best practice in governance. Cillian has also completed an extensive international comparative study of long-term care regulatory models. Cillian works closely with the tax, legal and finance professional teams.
Cillian’s academic journey has included a Bachelor of Commerce, a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Economics and a MA in Healthcare Management.
Cillian’s previous experience involved a career as a professional rugby player representing Leinster, Ulster, Connacht and Sale Sharks amongst others providing unique experiences that have shaped his approach to leadership.
Paula is responsible for ensuring effective and responsive consolidation of Operations including growth and strategic development across the company. The role involves ensuring governance and oversight in relation to the core services and support activities across the Company. Paula has over 15 years’ experience working in a variety of Irish and International private and public healthcare settings, at increasing levels of responsibility.
Paula was CEO of Cheeverstown House for 3 years, designing and driving a strategic transformation of the arrangement of services including residential, day and community-based services within the disability sector.
Paula holds a Bachelor of Science and a master’s in Health Service Management from Trinity College Dublin. Paula went on to publish her master’s research. The paper outlines from a consumer perspective the service attributes that provide satisfaction with service delivery and highlights areas where improvement was necessary.
Garrett is responsible for the strategic finance function of the business. He has worked overseas for several years in the Mining and Technology sectors and more recently has acted as a consultant to SMEs in Ireland.
Garrett is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and holds an MBA from the Open University.
In his spare time, Garrett is a keen sailor and cyclist and enjoys spending time with his family.
Clodagh joined the team in March 2020 and holds the position of Group Director of Human Resources. A HR professional with experience of leading high performing teams to both meet and exceed expectations.
Clodagh is responsible for the resourcing, talent management, succession planning, learning and development, employee relations and engagement of all team members throughout the group.
She is passionate about the standards and values of the group and is tasked with driving continuous improvements and creating excellence in the team.
Clodagh joined the group from the hospitality sector and held the Director of Human Resources position in the 5-star Druids Glen Hotel and Golf Resort previously.
After completing hospitality management in Galway, she secured her degree in H.R.M from Dublin Institute of Technology.
Roger is Virtue’s Mergers & Acquisitions Director and is responsible for generating and executing acquisition and other business development activities on behalf of the Group. Prior to joining Virtue, Roger worked for 9 years with BDO Corporate Finance and during this time Roger specialised in advising clients as they completed capital transactions, including M&A and debt raising activity, predominantly in the healthcare sector.
Roger’s primary degree was in Law & Accounting from the University of Limerick, following which he obtained his professional accountancy qualification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2015. Roger went on to undertake an Executive MBA in the University of Limerick and graduated with first class honours in 2019.
